It is located on the Furness Line from Barrow-in-Furness to Lancaster. It is operated by First TransPennine Express. ==History== The station building was designed by the Lancaster architect E. G. Paley for the Furness Railway Company in about 1864. It was extensively restored to its former glory in the late 1990s. The railway through Grange was originally opened on 1 September 1857 by the Ulverston & Lancaster Railway. The station was initially named Grange, the current name being adopted by the Furness Railway in June 1916. From 1 January 1923, the station was operated by the London Midland & Scottish Railway.
